At Allithwaite CE Primary School we believe in the adoption of a whole school uniform.
A uniform gives children a sense of belonging to one big group, in this case our Allithwaite school family.  

Uniforms avoid any competitiveness, anxiety and potential cruelty that can result as a consequence of individual choice of dress.  When we go on enrichment visits, on adventurous activities and to sporting events our uniforms identify us as Allithwaite.  This is important for health and safety reasons and also for the sense of pride and comradery a team uniform creates.

We have chosen Identity in Barrow as our choice of uniform provider.  We believe in supporting local businesses.  Identity also have a commitment to sustainability and protecting the planet within their ethos.
