- Mrs Nicole Spibey

My family and I moved to the area in 2015. Before teaching at Allithwaite, we chose it as the primary school for our three children to attend. I love running and have recently participated in the Lakeland Trails. I also love walking in this beautiful countryside with my family and my dog George.

- Mrs Debbie Osborne

I have lived in Allithwaite for many years and both my children have attended this school. I enjoy working in the office because I get to meet all our children and their families. I especially like it when the children come to show me their good work and get a special sticker. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy cooking and gardening.

- Mrs Humphries

I love being outdoors and enjoy watersports. I have a kayak, canoe and a boat I love to swim in Coniston - can't you tell I'm a Pisces !! I have been a keen cyclist since I was 16, and ride my mountain and road bikes when I can. Music is a hobby and I have always played an instrument. I play clarinet and trumpet, and I love going to gigs.

- Mrs Elliott - Headteacher

I have been at Allithwaite since 2013, it stood out clearly from the first moment that I came to Allithwaite, that this is a school with an extraordinary community, who wish the utmost success for their children and who have a caring and supportive ethos at their core. Allithwaite Church of England Primary School is undoubtedly a welcoming and nurturing school with amazing children and dedicated staff. I feel privileged to be leading our school. Having taught in all year groups within my ma ...

- Mr Purvin

I have had strong links with Allithwaite School since 1990. Our 3 children were educated here and I have been Allithwaite School Caretaker since January 2008. Being involved in the day to day running of the school, knowing lots of the children, parents and all of the staff, I feel I can be a vital, easily approachable link to the governors. For the last 6 years I have been a foster carer for Cumbria County Council. I enjoy DIY, walking and I am a keen motorsports fan.

- Mrs Taylor

I have worked as a senior teaching assistant for over 10 years, mainly with children with SEN. I am married to John and have two children, Aron and Brandon. When not at school I enjoy reading, and socialising. I am a big Liverpool FC fan and love the colour green and pigs.

Year 1 and 2 Teacher
- Mrs Tomison

I am married to David and have four children. I sometimes cycle to school and I am obsessed with collecting owls. When I am not teaching I love to read and spend time in the allotment at the bottom of my garden, where I am endeavoring to grow straight carrots!

- Mrs Swift

I live locally with my daughter and love this area. I enjoy reading, walking, gardening & camping. I have worked at Allithwaite School since 2008. . I love working with children and I also chaperone for the local drama group.

- Mrs Hodgson

I really enjoy helping children understand and learn. For the past 15 years I have supported children who find some aspects of school challenging to ensure that they have an inclusive experience. I am married, and have 2 boys at University, and a daughter at secondary school. I love the sea, being outside and camping!

- Mrs Chadwick

I was born in Grange-Over-Sands, and have lived in the area all my life. At home I look after my two children (who both attend the school), and my husband. In my spare time I enjoy walking, gardening, and visiting my brothers farm in Cartmel. I like horses and occasionally ride.

Parent's Voice

My son likes being in school so much that he is always excited to go in the morning and reluctant to leave at the end of the day.  The staff are very welcoming, approachable, their teaching interesting and directed at the needs of the children.   Year 1 Parent

Our little boy has always gone to school with a smile on his face.  We know that he will look back on his early years with fondness for years to come. Year 3 Parent

The links to St Mary’s Church are very strong enforcing the Christian ethos. The school is constantly changing and moving with the times. Year 4 Parent
